M O O N is a first person shooter at first sight. Play the game a little more, and you will figure out that it is really an Advernture game. The story takes place on the moon (betcha did not know that), but it is much deeper than that. It has a lot of story unfold as the progression of the game takes place. The story can be seen through actual gameplay, computer terminals, radio logs, and real people.
This game feels like it needed some sort of multiplayer; wireless and/or online. It controls more than good, because the stylus is exact and fast. There is a lot exploring to do, and in a good way. The tech and visuals are great. Also, it can recognize which weapon your holding, making real time weapon chand, ammo pickup, and gun stats are helpful.
What I do not like about this game is that the enemies are scarce. This does not sound like a problem at first, but because the world is big (and that is a good thing in this game) it needed more enemies. Also, the game can get kind of repeatative at time. For instance, rooms might look the same, enemies will be placed similarly, and the battles could get boring at times.
Even with these problems, the good definetly beats the bad in this games. All in all, it was lacking in the combat area, but remember: THIS GAME IS AN ADVENTURE GAME. Looking at it from an adventure game, it is a product worth buying.
Overall: 8.4/10
